You should mention that the server has to be started atleast once with teastart_minimal.sh to generate the config.yml
Also mention that protocol_key.txt is being generated when the server is being started with experimental_31

and where to create the protocoll txt file

Does anyone know the reason for the snapshot of an instance created from a teamspeak 3.0.13.8 server, just do not import the configuration:

i_icon_id

This in all groups becomes empty. On the TeaSpeak server even with the full backup of the snapshot you get all the icons in white.

In this case, you would have to replace all 1 by 1 in each group. Being that only happens in this permission, all the others are imported for the TeaSpeak also with the same value of teamspeak.

It is working now with 3.2.1 for me!
I just remove all files (manually installed earlier).
Install TeaSpeak as wrote SrYesid above...

Edit config.yml
./teastart.sh start (protocol_key will be generated automaticaly)
Open protocol_key and past the contents of the file from the first post.
./teastart.sh restart
...works for me.

About this error:
[CRITICAL] GLOBL | Failed to load the protocol key chain! (Invalid file version (1

I tried to replace the protocol_key.txt file and noticed that the server startup error occurred.
But if you just try to replace the protocol_key file created by the server when you set experimental_31 to 1, while the server is on, and after you restart it, I noticed that it works and does not make another error.
Also check that the protocol_key and owner / group file privileges are set on the server user (if one has previously been created).

Hello,

thanks for the tutorial. I have a question, when I connect to my server, I get message:
<14:09:55> The TeamSpeak server could not validate your myTeamSpeak ID. Some myTeamSpeak related services are not available.
<14:09:55> Reconnecting might solve the issue.
<14:09:55> not implemented

Server: [2018-08-16 14:09:56] [ERROR] 2 | Missing command 'updatemytsid'

It's ok? Thanks for answer.

Works fine, ported some servers using YaTQA snapshots.
I was also able to copy to old icons and avatars into the correspondig new directories and they were accepted and are working.
Amazing work, thanks!

In your case, did all server groups have to be reconfigured for the icons manually group by group?

Seems to work so far, but when I updated to the latest version I'm having issues with the key chain

[2018-08-16 16:18:43] [CRITICAL] GLOBL | Failed to load the protocol key chain! ))

Some other people had it, still couldn't figure out why it's not working.

In your case, did all server groups have to be reconfigured for the icons manually group by group?

It worked for me to copy the icons from the files directory of the old server to the new one by ftp.

FOR ALL PEOPLE THAT HAVE THE PROTOCOL KEY CHAIN ERROR:
REPLACE THE KEY CHAIN WITH THIS:

Code:
version:0
chain: AQCVXTlKF+UQc0yga99dOQ9FJCwLaJqtDb1G7xYPMvHFMwIKVfKADF6zAAcAAAAgQW5vbnltb3VzAA==
root_key_prv: QCUIVtjakIWe3BoNWHt9c6BX8lUyR4QOPirywBuPI0s=
root_key_pbl: zQ3irtRjRVCafjz9j2iz3HVVsp3M7HPNGHUPmTgSQIo=
root_prv_index: 1

You have to remove the space of the version: 0 in order for it to work, probably a typo of the thread creator!

Works for me now!
