Good, I have a question.

I understand that there are hardware based protection methods.

The problem is that I have a server and I want to protect it, I have the ips blocked through iptables but I want to know if there is any method for greater hardware protection.

Well if you are looking for something that you can just plug in and forget I would recommend WatchGuard but if you are looking for more customizability I would find a cheap 1u server and put pfSense on it.
