Are you sure ?
even if I though that the Game protection was the pretty strongest ones on the market...
...a big DDoS attack (coordinated attack to my server) just stressed the whole teamspeak server - and I had no chance to avoid it, even if the protection did do anything. :/

Maybe you've got some more luck than me:

Did you configured your server ? tcp things, syn and so on
Also permanent mitigation kinda useful.

OVH still have best protection in relation to price of services.

my ovh game protection just got fucked some hours ago
Sorry, but this is a huge bullshit. I've been using OVH Game protection since 2016 so I can't believe what you're saying. I already had a physical machine, but now I have a reseller vps on game node. Please dont say bullshit because u bad host provider choosing

Nope, that's possible and don't be aggressive please.
But with each attack OVH can add more attack patterns to filter them.

Even that shows to me that you're not having any experiences to "profesional" DDoS attacks. What attacks did you experience so far? Some tiny attacks fired my some kids? random bots from fucking nowhere? I'm also not saying that the OVH game protection sucks. Since 4 months online, every month like +500 middle-aged DDoS attacks and none of them did get us down, until the biggest flood came to destroy it.

Also there server is directly from OVH, so in this case no re-seller so far. There ahead we've choosed the game protection.

The guy who attacked the server (I've talked with em latelly) just told me that he's got new OVH methods, when there's a new patch to the DDoS protection. So don't really think that it was just a 0815-single-random attack. Also it could be possible to reduce the running DDoS (in this case for teamspeak) with some IPtable rules.

Just another dumb comment like I've thinked it before. You're telling me great stories from your life or somehow, but it doesn't reflect to my situation with that "master-OG-DDoS"-Attack. The attacker just had a great method to trick the updated game protection out, that's pretty much all. Now we've reported this case to OVH and the firewall team in SBG did manually set some special firewall rules, which is pointed to our services on that network. Do you really think that OVH game does filter everything? every single DDoS attack? Sorry but no, there's more to do. It's really great & strong, but when you have methods to fool the system out... you're fucked, trust me.

Also, get your shit together and don't try to be so lightning overall:
Sit on your ass and think about your stupid things. Mr, great administrator
U are blocked person for me.
I guess you've got no idea about which things there I were talking about, but why not?
and I don't really give a single fuck about your "blocked person"-guide, there before you just need to understand that there are still ways to bypass it - but the game protection is getting active updates, so just wait for every patch!

Now we've got an special firewall for our network. I hope you finally get it.

One question: Is OVH Game currently experiencing some high problems? Quite all DDoS attacks are fucking my server down and the OVH game is kinda doing nothing, or someone just bypassed it with an "public-master-attack".

There is always bypass... Mybe some python script installed on high vps or maybe Botnet... I had same problems with OVH and I quit with OVH VPS-s, try HETZNER its always good shot for me.

Hetzner xD They only buy a server machine for the price / value ratio. My server has killed a FREE STRESSER

Tbh hetzner isn't really better — but now again, everything at OVH alright? DDoS is active since many hours. It seems like the game protection does not even response. :(

Maybe that's the main problem:

Anti-DDoS Game V2 is Coming just we still have to wait ;)
What and when?
Currently my server is fucked like 12 hours in a day. getting fucked every single day by the same person.
Some guy is hanging like 16 hours around the day in front of his computer and keeps attacking me — it's not "several" anymore, it's massive.
